Spartans – The Men’s Club

Men’s club of the college do courtesy to their title – a group with quench for victory. Spartans co-ordinates various programmes and seminars for the physical, emotional and intellectual enrichment of the male fraction of the college with a concern for society. “Excellence with cultural heritage and social values” is their motto.

Mens forum 2022-23

We have an active Mens Forum group which provide many facilities to the students. We are organising many skill development programmes for the student community ever year.

The inauguration of our college Mens Forum 2022-23 was on 10-08-22 at 2 pm in the college auditorium by the Principal Dr Shyla Abraham. An awareness class was also conducted along with the inaugural ceremony under the title Identity Crises In Indolence’s. This program was conducted in association with the Govt Homeo Hospital Kurichy. Dr Anjana Chandran medical officer Seethalayam and Smt Sneha Benny Psychologist Seethalayam project were the guest speakers.

 First Aid Training Programme for students

To create awareness among students, we conducted a workshop on First Aid and emergency core at inter departmental level on 18-03-22. Luke Leon Kurian Assistant Professor, BCM college Kottayam was the guest speaker.

World Cup Prediction competition

A prediction competition was conducted by men’s forum in association with Qatar World Cup Football Tournament from November-December 2022. The coupon draw was conducted on 12-12-22.

K.G Fan Festival

In association with Qatar World Cup, a fans festival was conducted at inter department level on November 2022. The Circle Inspector of Police Mr. Suvarnakumar was the chief guest of the function . An inter departmental penalty shootout competition for Men and Women were also conducted in association with this event.

Physical Fitness Test

A physical fitness test was conducted for all the first year student as part of the awareness for physical fitness. Services such as gymnasium workout, cycling etc were promoted as part of this programme. This programme was organised and coordinated by Arun Mathew and Vivek A Krishna. Dr Joji M  Philip, Dr Thomas Baby and Dr Wilson C Thomas were the staff advisors.
