1981 : The College begins as a junior college (Pre-degree batches in Arts and Commerce only)
1982 : The College gets shifted to new premises (Pre-degree Science Batches launched).
1991 : The college was upgraded : Degree Programme in Economics started.
1993 : B.Sc. Chemistry is sanctioned.
1995 : B.Com. Programme started.
1998 : The first Post Graduate Programme viz. M. Com started.
1999 : B.Sc. Physics Programme launched.

2001 : The College creates history by scoring the highest pass percentage in Pre-degree and Degree Programmes.

2012 : Dr. Tharsis Joseph Foundation Best Principal Award 2012 awarded to Dr. M. E. Kuriakose by Prof. K. V. Thomas Hon’ble Minister of Govt. of India for Agriculture, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
