Computer Centre

Very Rev.P.C. Yohannan Ramban, (1934-2008) the founder Resident Manager of K.G. College was an extra ordinary priest-monk who founded and nurtured many institutions to perpetuate the memory of his mentor and master Pampady Thirumeni. It was his incessant zeal and zest that resulted in the establishment of this temple of higher education at this remote, rural area. Yohannan Rambachen was the refuge for the poor and the destitute. He founded many orphanages and charitable institutions. All the great institutions around the Pampady Dayara are Rambachen’s handworks in human resources, brick and mortar. To commemorate the memory of this great visionary, the K.G. College family decided to establish a Computer Centre on the campus. PC Yohannan Ramban Institute of Computer Studies was thus set-up to provide Computer Education to the students of K.G. College. The infrastructure of the centre was funded by the P.T.A. to which our MLA and the Chief Minister of Kerala Sri.Oommen Chandy has sanctioned a special grant for the purchase of 10 computers.
